GLX (Green Line Extension)

Boston, MA | 2014 - 2015

The Green Line Extension project was a planned 4.3 mile surface and elevated light-rail extension of the MBTA’s ‘Green Line’, encompassing 7 new stations, a vehicle maintenance facility, and various support structures.

When brought onboard, I jumped right into a 90% CD deadline for Lechmere Station, but due to some budgeting issues I soon found myself involved in the schematic re-design and ‘value engineering’ of that very same station.

For the remaining stations and structures I was able to participate in all aspects of the design process, from hand-sketched idea generation to BIM modeling and drafting details.

All work was completed while employed at AECOM's Boston Office.
