Sketches from Israel

Israel | 2012

Sketches from a ten-day birthright trip to Israel.

Traveling up and down the entire country by bus, with a schedule almost too packed to find a moment to sketch. Israel, although the same size as the state of New Jersey (8,000 sq miles), has an extremely diverse landscape. In a few hours you can drive from though mountains of Golan Heights at the Syrian border through desserts, farmlands, and forests into the ancient city of Jerusalem, or the mediterranean beaches on the modern capital of Tel-Aviv.
