In collaboration with Hiu Man Law,
this hotel is located across the street from Fayette park in
downtown Syracuse. Done for our comprehensive studio, it was
designed from urban strategy and programmatic analysis down to
HVAC loads and wall details.
The project has 3 main parts: the commercial urban base that
creates the space of park, the floating glass tower containing
the bulk of the hotel rooms and views of downtown Syracuse, and
the sculptural concrete shell enclosing the hotel's ballroom.
